In the last decade, Amy Lombardo has trained hundreds of caregivers, nurses, teachers, activists, environmentalists, therapists, and more in her work to mobilize individuals to restore the birthright of wellness to all people, regardless of their circumstances or backgrounds. She has created and implemented outreach programs that have supported abused children, Alzheimer’s residents, hurricane victims, nursing staff, rape survivors, rural farmers, African refugees, and more. Amy is a certified life coach and yoga teacher, and a graduate of the Empowerment Institute with a BS from Cornell University and an MA from the University of Cincinnati. She is the co-founder of Karma Krew, a nationwide yoga-based nonprofit. She uses her dynamic background to design yoga and empowerment programs that blend ancient wisdom with modern business savvy to deliver an experience that is at once heartfelt and powerfully practical. Amy has learned the inherent joys and challenges of a life based on service and activism and is committed to sharing the wisdom from her hard-earned lessons with others.
