Sasi invites and encourage his students to find lightness in their heart and to flow from that awareness. Sasi applies his knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and acupressure to his yoga teaching, particularly in adjustments, and explaining the connections between asanas and the meridian and vital points of the body. Sasi served for three years with Niroga Institute, a nonprofit organization in the East Bay Area of California, which seeks to foster health and well being through transformative life skills for at-risk and underserved individuals, families, and communities. Sasi says this experience has enhanced his ability to move and teach from a deeper place of compassion. His experience of traveling around the world and engaging people of different cultures and backgrounds has significantly broadened his perspective not only of the practice of yoga, but of life itself.
